WEST BRANCH, MI – Ogemaw Heights loves it when Kendel Morris unleashes her powerful arm.

But she has a tendency of exciting the Falcons even more with no arm swing at all.

Just a sophomore, Morris has quickly shown the instincts, leaping ability and timing – as well as the natural-born knack – for delivering a big block when her volleyball team needs it the most.

“Blocks are wicked,” Ogemaw coach Heather Munson said. “A block can change the trajectory of the game. It’s all about pressing over the net and timing. To have that down as a sophomore is impressive.”
