Several major retailers will be closed for the day in just a few weeks, meaning that shoppers will need to plan ahead and look elsewhere for any last-minute Thanksgiving supplies.
ALDI, Costco and Trader Joe’s will not be open on Nov. 27 for the federal Thanksgiving holiday.
Costco closes its locations seven times during the year. In addition to Thanksgiving, the stores also close for New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Christmas Day, according to Costco’s website .
As for ALDI, the chain closes its locations on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Limited hours are scheduled on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. These special holiday hours vary by store location, ALDI’s website
