KTIV Nebraska NewsNORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) - Police in Northeast Nebraska responded to reports of gunshots, and this resulted in a juvenile being arrested.
At approximately 1:02 a.m. on October 22, 2025, officers with the Norfolk Police Division were dispatched to the area of North 9th Street and Koenigstein Avenue following multiple reports of shots fired. While in the area, an officer heard an additional single gunshot nearby.
Officers searched the neighborhood and located a juvenile male unconscious on a terrace in the 300 block of South 8th Street, approximately four and a half blocks from the original call location. Police say a firearm was found on the ground next to the individual.
While speaking with the juvenile, officers say they detected signs of alcohol use. A preliminary breath test indicated a
