PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is searching for a rideshare driver suspected of assaulting a passenger.

MCSO is asking for anyone to come forward with the whereabouts of 33-year-old Lemolineaux Bain following a report of an alleged sexual assault.

A 21-year-old woman received a ride from an Uber driver after a night out with friends and reported being assaulted by the driver. The passenger was highly intoxicated at the time and her parents reportedly interrupted the act, resulting in a confrontation with the driver, the sheriff's office said.

The incident was reported the following evening.

MCSO said Bain fled when law enforcement attempted to detain him for questioning.
