East Coweta High School flag football coach Resty Beadles has been named a statewide nominee for the Atlanta Falcons High School Girls Flag Football Coach of the Week, a program that recognizes coaches who are making a significant impact on student-athletes and their communities.

The initiative, powered by AJC Varsity, honors five girls flag football head coaches across Georgia for their leadership, character and commitment.

Each weekly winner receives a $1,000 grant for their program, recognition from the Falcons and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and access to additional special events.

Beadles, who also serves on the football and basketball coaching staffs, is praised for his dedication to student-athletes both on and off the field.
