ORLEANS – Get your costumes ready! The town of Orleans has officially set the hours for trick-or-treating on Halloween night, Friday, October 31st.
Trick-or-treating will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Residents who wish to welcome the little ghosts and goblins to their homes are asked to turn on their outdoor porch or patio lights during those hours as a signal that they are participating.
Treats from First Responders
In addition to neighborhood door-to-door candy collection, trick-or-treaters are also invited to make a special stop at the Orleans Police Station, located next door to the Orleans Library.
The Orleans Police Department will team up with the Orleans Fire Department to hand out treats that evening, providing a fun, safe destination for families.
