RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The man arrested in connection with the break-ins of 12 cars at Lenovo Center during an NBA Young Boy concert Friday night is out on bond. However, police said he may not be the only suspect.
Dontarius Barrett made his first appearance in Wake County court today and posted bond in connection with the 12 car break-ins he is accused of committing. He is charged with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle with theft, felony possession of a stolen firearm, possess with intent to distribute/sell marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The weapon that was stolen — a DB-15 AR pistol — was stolen during a Lenovo Center car break-in, an arrest warrant said. Barrett was charged with a felony because the pistol was valued at $1,200, according to the war
