Rain tonight, lots of wind tomorrow followed by more sunshine for all by mid week

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Monday evening everyone! A cold front currently over the Western Sandhills early this evening will press eastward this evening through the overnight. By Tuesday morning, it should clear the Tri-Cities and be in far Eastern Nebraska. As the front pushes through, we’ll see showers this evening first out west. With initial shower development this evening there may be enough instability for a few rumbles of thunder mainly west of the Tri-Cities. Showers will then move into central Nebraska late this evening before moving into eastern areas early Tuesday morning. Showers could linger in Eastern Nebraska into Tuesday afternoon.
