BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The Killdeer Cowboys will make their third consecutive Class A quarterfinal playoff appearance this Saturday when they host the Dickinson Trinity Titans. The second-seeded Cowboys defeated No. 7 Trinity, 27-23, in the regular season in a game that started on Friday and ended on Monday due to weather.

“You have to make sure that everybody just does their job,” Cowboys’ Head Coach Andy Cook said. “Try not to overthink it too much. Stick with what got you there. Their defensive line is amongst the best that we play all year, if they’re not the best. Just stay assignment sound, and if everybody does their job, we should be in an ideal situation. Trying to do too much is what always what gets you in trouble.”
