Indiana GOP Gov. Mike Braun on Monday called a special session of the state legislature to redraw the state's congressional district maps as part of a larger Republican effort to tilt the scales in their favor for the midterms.

The General Assembly will convene on Nov. 3 to address the issue, the Associated Press reported.
