DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Darlington County home was engulfed by fire Monday night, with crews expected to remain on scene for hours to get it under control.

Just after 8 p.m., the Palmetto Rural Fire Department requested help from West Florence Fire-Rescue for an engine and additional personnel. A tanker was brought in as well.

The Darlington County Sheriff's Office and Darlington County Emergency Medical Services are also assisting.
