EDINA, Minn. — Police in Edina are searching for a suspect they say shot at a woman who was driving on Highway 169.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, officials said, north of I-494.
The woman was driving north when police say she noticed an "older model white sedan with tinted windows that was weaving between lanes at fluctuating speeds." She said she tried to pass the vehicle, and that's when the male driver allegedly pointed a handgun at her.
According to Edina Police, the woman heard a gunshot as she passed the white sedan. Police say she wasn't hurt, but a bullet did strike her vehicle.
The Edina Police Department is looking for anyone who might have seen this vehicle or has any information about the case. Tips can be sent to EdinaPoliceTips@EdinaMN.gov.
