Third-seeded Susquehannock defeated No. 10 York Suburban 1-0 in the District 3 Class 3A boys soccer semifinals on Monday. With the win, the Warriors will face reigning champion No. 1 Conrad Weiser, a 3-2 overtime winner over No. 4 Northern , in the District 3 3A final Thursday at Landis Field, first kick at 7 p.m.
Junior Ryan Beckett found the back of the net at the 31:50 mark from a feed by Ablov Bangura, enough to seal the win for Susquehannock. Mark Hall recorded 11 saves in the clean sheet.
The Trojans made their first appearance in the District 3 semifinals since 1993 after stunning Hershey in last week’s quarterfinals.
