SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Holy Cross College president Marco Clark will attend a catholic higher education conference in Rome on Wednesday.
As part of the three-day conference, he will have a private audience with Pope Leo.
President Clark spoke with 16 News Now about the importance of this conference for Holy Cross.
Holy Cross College will be the only North American representative speaking at this conference. President Clark says this honor ‘notes the arrival of Holy Cross as an International Leader in Catholic Higher Education.’
Back in 2023, representatives from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross interviewed catholic university leadership in America to select a speaker for the conference on “purpose of the university.” They chose President Clark.
