SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Holy Cross College President Marco Clark will attend a Catholic higher education conference in Rome on Wednesday.
As part of the three-day conference, he will have a private audience with Pope Leo XIV.
Holy Cross College will be the only North American representative speaking at this conference. Clark says this honor “notes the arrival of Holy Cross as an International Leader in Catholic Higher Education.”
Back in 2023, representatives from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross interviewed Catholic university leadership in America to select a speaker for the conference on “purpose of the university.” They chose Clark.
Clark says he looks forward to sharing Holy Cross’ mission on an international stage for the first time.
