Indian equity indices opened Tuesday’s trading session on a muted note. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 30 points or 0.12% to open at 25,996. The BSE Sensex opened 101 points or 0.12% higher at 84,880.
The Bank Nifty opened flat at 58,116. The small and midcap stocks opened the day on a stronger note. The Nifty Midcap surged 138 points or 0.23% to open at 59,918.
