Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer left Game 3 of the World Series with an apparent injury after taking a massive swing at a pitch.

The ball did not hit Springer, though the motion itself ended up bothering Springer enough for him to come out of the game. Ty France replaced him.

The pain appeared to stem from Springer's right side — potentially the hip or oblique — but there is no further information.

Springer was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in the game before leaving.
