Dior ‘s latest retail venture — The House of Dior Beijing — will be located in the heart of the Sanlitun Beijing district, a flagship development within the capital city’s luxury retail scene.
The project, one of the largest to date, spans five stories and was conceived by Christian de Portzamparc, the first French architect to win the Pritzker Prize, who also designed Dior ’s flagships in Seoul — launched in 2015 — followed by Geneva in 2024.
Dubbed a “building-sculpture,” the facade of the store will be embellished with petal shapes and clean-cut lines meant to evoke “the movement made by the toiles as Christian Dior cut them for his haute couture dresses,” the brand said in a statement.
Golden artisanal glass tiles also will embellish the exterior, echoing the grandeur
