PRESTON, Conn. (WFSB) - A person suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Route 2 Monday night, according to state police.
Troopers responded to the collision around 9:55 p.m.
The vehicle involved in the crash left the scene, and no description of the vehicle is available at this time.
Route 2 is closed in both directions at Hewitt Road as the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad investigates the scene.
The investigation remains active.
