Washington, DC – A brutal daytime robbery unfolded on a busy Southeast D.C. street Friday afternoon, when three suspects surrounded a man, assaulted him, and made off with his belongings before disappearing from the scene.

The incident happened around 4:20 p.m. in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, was standing along the sidewalk when the trio approached, launched an unprovoked attack, and forcibly took his property. The suspects then fled before law enforcement could arrive.
