BOERNE, Texas — The City of Boerne made big changes to their development agreement with Buc-ee's Monday night.
The updates come after years of pushback from residents about the project.
The changes have altered the original agreement the city made with Buc-ee's in 2016 by limiting the building to 54,000 square feet. It will also drop the store's sign to 60 feet and requires lighting that is compliant with the city's dark sky ordinance. The agreement also limits the store to 100 fueling stations, which is 50 stations in total with a gas pump on each side.
Monday night's motion passed unanimously.
