MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More than 100 people spoke Monday evening, Oct. 27 at a public meeting at the Mitchell Park Domes to voice frustration over proposed budget cuts.
Opposition was particularly focused on changes and cuts to county buses.
Attendees said buses are crucial for equity and warned supervisors that many people would be angry over the cuts.
The Milwaukee County budget is around $1.5 billion.
County supervisors will suggest changes to the budget this week and are scheduled to vote Thursday, Nov. 6.
