HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) —A water main break on the east end of Henderson is impacting over 1,000 customers.
According to Henderson Water Utility, repairs are underway at 5th Street and Heilman Avenue.
Officials say the break has disrupted water service across a broad area.
Residents and businesses are being asked to boil all water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or giving to pets until further notice.
HWU says the advisory stretches from Heilman Avenue, along the railroad tracks to the State Police post, east towards Bent Creek subdivision, and north around Highlander subdivision.
All homes and businesses within this zone are under the advisory.
