HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Henderson Water Utility officials have issued a boil water advisory for the area on the east end of Henderson due to a water main break.

According to a press release, approximately 1,093 customers are affected.

Water officials say the break is being repaired now at the corner of 5th Street and Heilman Avenue.

They say affected area is generally defined as beginning at the corner of Heilman Ave, following the railroad tracks to the State Police post, continuing east to Bent Creek subdivision, and then north around the Highlander subdivision, before returning to the corner of Heilman Ave.

All customers in the affected area are under this advisory.
