Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal finalised his divorce from influencer Dhanashree Verma in March 2025, agreeing reportedly to a Rs 4.75-crore alimony settlement after just 18 months of marriage. But even seven months after ending his marriage, Chahal still seems hurt–at least financially.
When the divorce was finally granted earlier this year, many quipped: imagine paying Rs 86,000 a day to stay married, or, in this case, to get unmarried. It seems, Chahal’s still calculating the cost.
