MARIETTA, Ga. — Marietta Police say a stepfather has died after being shot multiple times by his stepson in an argument at an apartment complex last night.

The Marietta Police Department has identified the victim as 58-year-old Michael Jackson and said he "did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital."

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old stepson has been identified as Pharron Banks and he continues to be on the run. He was described as 6-foot-5 weighing 160 pounds, and he is wanted for murder, aggravated assault and third degree cruelty to children.

Marietta Police said they tracked down his car to John Hope Drive in Atlanta, where it was unoccupied.
