The League of Women Voters of the Columbia Area is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

As part of the LWVCA’s Voter Registration and Education program, the League of Women Voters of the Columbia Area participates in the LWVUS national website, VOTE411.org , an online resource with voting information for upcoming elections at the local, state and national levels.
