MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - Emergency personnel responded to a crash between a Wilson County school bus and a car on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for Wilson County Schools confirmed that one of the district’s buses and a car crashed on Lebanon Road near Cooks Road around 8 a.m.

The bus was transporting an unknown number of students at the time; however, none of them reported any injuries.

There were three people in the car, and one of them sustained injuries during the crash.

The incident is causing significant traffic on Lebanon Road in both directions, from Benders Ferry Road to Everette Road.

Drivers should plan to take alternate routes.
