Police said one of the drivers, James Edward Holbert, 51, was driving with a suspended license when he hit another vehicle. The two drivers got into an argument that escalated into a fight.
According to police, that's when Holbert got back in his vehicle and grabbed a large piece of wood and threw it at the victim's window, hitting him in the head.
Both drivers were arrested by police.
Police said Holbert at one point threatened to kill the arresting officer and "shoot him in the face."
