Former NFL running back Adrian Peterson was caught sleeping at the wheel of a moving car before his arrest.

Peterson was arrested in Sugar Land, Texas, on Sunday morning and was later charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon. He was due in court this Monday, having spent Sunday night in custody at Fort Bend County, with his mugshot also released.

The 40-year-old was photographed dozing off in his car at a gas station, and TMZ Sports has since obtained images showing him slumped over the wheel. The individual who took the photos told the outlet Adrian’s car was still running, while his phone was in his hand.
