A man was shot and killed in Northeast Portland’s Argay Terrace neighborhood early Monday evening.

Officers arrived at the scene in the 4500 block of Northeast 125th Place around 5:35 p.m. and found a man critically injured from gunshot wounds, the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement.

The officers provided the man first aid at the scene, but he died after emergency responders drove him to a hospital, according to police.

The Police Bureau said the shooter or shooters fled before officers arrived. No arrests have been made.

The name of the victim hasn’t been released.
