GRANT COUNTY, Ind. —
A 26-year-old man is facing charges, accused of traveling across the country to meet a 12-year-old girl in Indiana.

The sheriff's office said the man was allegedly communicating with the child for several months before traveling to Indiana. The sheriff's office said when the child's parents found out about the situation, the child's father started communicating directly with Dominguez to help deputies take him into custody.
He was taken to Grant County Jail and charged with three counts of child molesting, two counts of child exploitation, one count of strangulation and one count of battery.
He is being held on a $500,000 cash bond.
