ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A trespassing call in northwest Atlanta ended with a shooting involving an Atlanta police officer Monday night, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
The incident happened in the area of 2045 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW, which is the listed address of Family Dollar.
Prenzinna Spann, deputy chief of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division, said Atlanta police officers responded to a report of a trespasser in the area.
Officers reportedly encountered a man who matched the trespasser’s description. The man ran away and a pursuing officer fired at him.
