THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Human Rights Commission Chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas has directed the police to install No Parking boards on M.N. Lane near P.M.G.–Plamoodu Road in Thiruvananthapuram, where vehicles coming to a private scooter service centre are being parked illegally.

The directive was issued to the Assistant Commissioner of Police. The action came in response to a complaint alleging that vehicles parked on M.N. Lane were causing traffic congestion in the area.

According to the Traffic Assistant Commissioner’s report to the Commission, instructions have been given to sector patrolling officers to take legal action against those parking vehicles in a way that blocks traffic or driving at excessive speed on the lane.
