GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - East Carolina University police say two students are facing charges after walking into dorm rooms without permission as part of a TikTok trend.

18-year-olds Olivia Fetterolf and Willow Osborne were arrested by ECU police yesterday.

Warrants say the two women broke into two rooms in White Hall on October 8th.

ECU police say the women were mimicking a TikTok trend where students walk into other students’ dorm rooms without permission.

Police say the arrests stemmed from previous investigations after students reported to police that Fetterolf and Osborne had been walking into the rooms and taking photos and videos.

Fetterolf and Osborne are each facing two counts of breaking or entering.

They were both taken to the Pitt County Jail.
