CHICO, Calif. — The Chico Police Department is responding to a call in the Pheasant Run Shopping Mall parking lot on Forest Avenue and 20th Street.

Authorities urged the public to steer clear of the area for safety reasons as they managed the situation. The Pheasant Run Mall consists of stores such as Best Buy, Old Navy, and several others. CPD provided no additional details at this time.
