The Manitoba government is expanding health care in the north through a new partnership with Norway House Cree Nation that will increase dialysis treatment and bring birthing services back to the community for the first time in years.

Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care Minister Uzoma Asagwara announced the investment Tuesday, saying it will help end the longstanding need for residents to travel several hours for basic medical care.
