Winnipeg city councillor Sherri Rollins is calling for immediate action to address what she describes as growing inequities and accessibility barriers under Winnipeg Transit’s new Primary Transit Network.
In a preliminary report tabled at the City Centre Community Committee on Monday, Fort Rouge-East Fort Garry councillor Rollins said recent route changes have left many residents — particularly low-income workers, students, seniors, and people with disabilities — struggling to reach hospitals, schools, and workplaces.
