HIBBING — A man has been charged with sexually abusing a child.

Johnathan William Olson, 39, of Hibbing, was arraigned Monday in State District Court on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct against a child under age 14.

The Hibbing Police Department arrested Olson Thursday after the girl alleged two instances of abuse.

According to a criminal complaint:

Police were called after the child told an adult that Olson had inappropriately touched her. That person confronted Olson, who reportedly did not deny the allegations, stating that he was “sorry” and “disgusted with himself.”
