MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — An alleged impaired driver was arrested over the weekend after crashing a truck through the wall of a residential home in Mohave County, according to the sheriff's office.
On Oct. 25, deputies responded to a residence in Valle Vista, located north of Kingman, where a red truck had plowed through the home's front wall. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Lajontay Alvirez, and a passenger were located inside the truck, MCSO said.
Nobody was inside the residence at the time of the collision.
An open bottle of liquor was allegedly found in the vehicle and Alvirez reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.267, well over Arizona's legal limit. MCSO said the driver allegedly became belligerent with deputies and was booked into the county's detention facility.
