NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Tweed- New Haven Airport, or HVN, is celebrating a milestone that reflects its role as a driver of tourism and economic opportunity in the southern part of the state.
A small ceremony was held at the airport Tuesday to recognize that it has now served 4 million passengers since 2020. Several airport and state officials spoke during the gathering, according to HVN.
“This achievement underscores what we’ve long known: there is extraordinary demand for convenient and accessible air traffic in southern Connecticut,” Michael Jones, CEO of The New HVN, said. “We are deeply grateful for the travelers who choose HVN, the dedicated teams who make up our airport community and the strong foundation we’ve built together over the past four years to reach this milestone.”
