OWEGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The Tioga County Property Development Corporation held a ribbon-cutting at its Open House for a mixed-use building in downtown Owego.

The dilapidated historic building at 81 North Avenue has been renovated and will house Simple Form Pilates on the first floor and two residential units on the second and third floors.

The development corporation received funding from New York State Homes and Community Renewal Land Bank Initiative and Empire State Development's RESTORE New York to cover the $905,000 project.

Executive Administrator for the Tioga County Property Development Corporation, Sara Zubalsky-Peer says this is the biggest project they have ever taken.
