Giant Eagle is giving you the opportunity to trade in your pennies for gift cards.

For one day only, you'll be able to convert your pennies into a Giant Eagle gift card worth equal to or twice the value of the pennies exchanged. Advertisement

On Nov. 1, customers can take their pennies to one of the over 200 Giant Eagle or Market District locations from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To participate in the exchange, you must convert a minimum of 50 cents in pennies, which will result in a one-dollar Giant Eagle gift card. The maximum amount allowed to be exchanged is $100 or the equivalent of 10,000 pennies. Those 10,000 pennies would be converted into a $200 gift card.
