PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — While Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas is still days away, the park has announced an opening date and details about the 2026 season.

On Tuesday, Dollywood announced that the park will be opening for all guests at the start of its 41st season on Friday, March 13. In the past, Dollywood has had season pass preview days to kick off seasons, but this year, the park said it will be having special ride preview days for season passholders ahead of the opening the park's newest ride NightFlight Expedition.
