The most memorable moment of Micah Shrewsberry's less-than-stellar first two seasons at Notre Dame came in February, when he ranted against those who had given up on him and his team during a second consecutive below-.500 season.

"We’re turning this around, man," Shrewsberry said, his voice rising. "You better believe that. Everybody that gave up on me, believe it. Right this date down and believe it. We’re gonna get this thing rolling. I don’t care if you gave up on me or not."

With that, he slapped the podium microphone out of the way and stormed out of the press conference.
