YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Youngstown City Council joined other community members on stage Tuesday evening at the Ford Family Recital Hall to discuss how $82.7 million in American Rescue Plan money was spent. All of the money has been spoken for, with a large portion going to neighborhood and economic development.
Youngstown Finance Director Kyle Miasek began the town hall session by explaining that the aim of the 82.7 million of American Rescue Plan money was to create legacy projects.
"That was going to make the community healthier, better, and have the ability to hopefully convince others to see Youngstown in a different light," Miasek said.
