MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) - A Grove City man is facing charges following a months-long investigation involving child sexual abuse material.

Andrew Hines, 19, was arrested last week and charged with 338 counts of possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material.

The investigation into Hines took about seven months and started with a referral from Mercer County Children and Youth Services about Hines having inappropriate contact with juveniles.

Investigators say Hines admitted to sending obscene photos to juvenile males between 13-16 and having inappropriate conversations with them.

A forensic search of Hines's electronic device resulted in numerous instances of child sexual abuse material in the form of images and videos involving dozens of victims. Some of them have been identified
