Former Lakers center, lottery pick leaving NBA to join EuroLeague powerhouse

It’s becoming more common for NBA veterans to take their talents overseas after spending multiple years in the big leagues.

On Tuesday, a former Los Angeles Lakers center and lottery pick joined that club, as he signed a multi-year deal with a EuroLeague powerhouse.

"Alex Len has agreed to a multi-year deal with Real Madrid,” HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reported. “Len, the fifth pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, has averaged 6.7 points and 5.3 rebounds during his 12-year career with the Suns , Hawks , Kings , Raptors , Wizards , and Lakers.”
