Sportsnet, owned by Rogers, is now aggressively and rightly promoting the Blue Jays as Canada’s team in this World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. You would think the company might have thought of the obvious: Manufacture all the fan merchandise right here in Canada. And the profits stay at home. Instead, the products are made mostly in China and other foreign countries. What a missed opportunity to truly cheer for Canada and the economy. Yes, “Lights Up, Let’s Go” and make it in Canada.
