MINDEN, Neb. (KSNB) - It was a morning full of exploration and learning for students at Minden High School as they learned about their different post-high school opportunities at the school’s College and Career Readiness fair.
“We wanted to highlight careers not only in Minden but also in the surrounding area that they could pursue outside of high school,” said Macie Oertle, Minden High School’s FFA Advisor. “A lot of kids don’t know what they’re getting into or what they want to do with their life, so we thought, ‘Why don’t we bring outside people in instead of having the kids go from inside the school and leave?’”
The event was for the students, put on by the students.
